In response to users’ comments and wishes, a number of changes have been made to the notification portal.
What are the main changes?
- For new notifications, the question ‘Is the employee a temporary worker?’ has been added to the ‘Employees’ tab. This question was added because it was unclear in which sector a temporary worker must be notified – in the sector ‘Temporary Employment Agency Activities’ (SBI-code 78.2), or in the sector where the temporary agency worker will work, for instance the construction sector (SBI-code 43). This new question can now be used to notify whether the employee is a temporary agency worker within the meaning of Section 1(1)(3) of the Terms of Employment for Posted Workers in the EU Act (WagwEU). Under ‘sector’, the user indicates in which sector the temporary agency will work.
- Sometimes the notification has not yet been checked on the first day of the start of the project. The client or contractor will then receive a reminder email.
- An explanation has been added when extending, copying, changing or creating a new notification. This will help you choose the right option. More information on notifications can be found on this page.
- Warning notifications have been added for certain (sub-)sectors. They indicate for which persons a notification must or must not be submitted in that (sub-)sector. An overview of exempt sectors and activities can be found here.
- Extra categories have been added to the rejection reasons. This makes it easier for you to clarify the reason why a notification is inaccurate.
- In the ‘A1 declaration number’ field, you can now also fill in letters. Before you could only fill in numbers.
- A pop-up will appear when a notification is submitted for a project with a start date more than 6 months in advance. It states that it is a legal requirement to update the notification if something changes in the meantime. And that it is also possible to submit the notification closer to the project start date.
- The times at which the help desk can be reached have been added. You can find these in the notification portal next to the to the telephone number.
